Greenpeace challenges environmental approval of San Antonio Outer Port
Greenpeace South Pacific filed an appeal before the Committee of Ministers against the Environmental Qualification Resolution (RCA) for the San Antonio Outer Port project, approved on June 9, 2026, by the Valparaíso Evaluation Commission. The NGO questions the lack of assessment regarding impacts on beach sedimentation, the San Antonio Canyon, water resources, and the Ojos de Mar Urban Wetland, arguing that the environmental authority did not adequately respond to public participation observations.
