Panama and Peru Agree on Joint Logistics Agenda to Strengthen Maritime Trade
Presidents José Raúl Mulino (Panama) and Keiko Fujimori (Peru) agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation with an agenda focused on maritime, port, and logistics connectivity. The meeting in Lima included the modernization of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Peru's possible accession to the Treaty of Neutrality of the Canal, and an open skies agreement. The agreements aim to improve logistics integration and supply chains in Latin America.
