EPV-Chilquinta Alliance for the Electrical Reconversion of the Port of Valparaíso
Empresa Portuaria Valparaíso (EPV) and Grupo Empresas Chilquinta signed a strategic alliance to promote the electrical reconversion of the Port of Valparaíso. The agreement, the result of almost a year of prior work, includes increasing electrical capacity, electromobility, non-conventional renewable energies, and the implementation of On-Shore Power Supply (OPS) to power docked ships, reducing emissions.
