Port Canaveral Transfers Truck 52 to Eastern Florida State College Fire Academy
The Canaveral Port Authority officially transferred Truck 52, a 2012 Pierce Velocity 75-foot ladder truck, to Eastern Florida State College's Fire Training Center during a ceremony on October 15, 2026. The apparatus, which responded to nearly 7,000 calls during 14 years of service, will support EFSC's firefighter and emergency response training programs. The donation reflects Port Canaveral's commitment to firefighter education and first responder training throughout the region.
