Lloyd's Register certifies conversion of LNG carrier to FSU for Perenco's offshore project
Lloyd's Register will provide classification and technical assurance services for the conversion of the LNG carrier Bayelsa into a floating storage unit (FSU LNG Cap Lopez) at Drydocks World Dubai. The project, for Dixstone Lower Gulf FZCO (a subsidiary of Perenco), will facilitate LNG storage for offshore operations in Gabon, reducing gas flaring and improving energy efficiency.
