Ghana's New Drydock Project Progresses After Successful Financing Round
Ghana's Takoradi Floating Dock Project (Shiprite) secured $9.7 million funding from the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) as part of a growth partnership between Ghana and the UK signed during President John Mahama's visit. The $137 million project, led by Prime Meridian Docks Ghana Ltd with equity from ARM-Harith Infrastructure Fund, will provide modern ship repair and dry docking facilities in the Gulf of Guinea, handling vessels up to 200 meters in length under a 25-year concession agreement with Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority.
