Battery systems for 15 river cruise vessels from EST-Floattech
EST-Floattech secured a contract with Dutch system integrator Van Tiem Elektro to supply Octopus High Energy battery systems for 15 new river cruise vessels. Each vessel will receive 650 kWh of installed battery capacity, totaling ~9.7 MWh across the project. Ships are being outfitted at De Gerlien van Tiem in Druten and Vahali Shipyards in Ghent for AmaWaterways and Uniworld, with deliveries scheduled through 2030.
