Jonathan Daniels Joins PortMiami as New Director and CEO

Jonathan Daniels, former Executive Director of the Maryland Port Administration and Port of Baltimore, has been appointed Director and Chief Executive Officer of PortMiami, effective August 10, 2026. With over three decades of port experience, Daniels led Baltimore's recovery following the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse. In 2025, Baltimore handled approximately 50 million tons of cargo and set a new annual container record.
