Ningbo Zhoushan Begins Weekly Operations on China-Europe Arctic Route
The Port of Ningbo Zhoushan is preparing for regular weekly operations of the China-Europe Arctic Express service to commence in mid-August 2026. This route reduces transit time to between 18 and 20 days, saving 22 days compared to the Suez Canal route and decreasing carbon emissions by 50%. The operational plan includes at least eight voyages with seven reinforced vessels connecting over 10 major ports in the United Kingdom and Europe, with alliances such as Sea Legend Shipping.
