MTC Presents its Strategy for Addressing PPP Challenges in Transport Infrastructure

The Vice Minister of Transport, Gabriela Carrasco Carrasco, presented the MTC's position on the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model during the 2026 Infrastructure and Private Investment Conference. She addressed the challenges of Law N° 32441 and the debate surrounding PPP 5.0, emphasizing the need for careful analysis of any centralization of contractual management in the transport sector. The ministry highlighted its immediate response capability to ensure national transitability and security.
