Africa Forward Summit: The CMA CGM Foundation renews its commitment to education and innovation in Kenya and across Africa
The CMA CGM Foundation announced new initiatives at the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi on May 11 and 12, 2026, including the renovation of the University of Nairobi's main football field benefiting more than 50,000 students and support for the I.O.Me001 innovation center in Mombasa. These projects reinforce the Foundation's significant presence in Africa, adding to more than 10 ongoing projects in Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, and Egypt. Since 2012, the Foundation has transported 120,000 tonnes of humanitarian supplies to 106 countries through its "Containers of Hope" initiative.
