Scandlines Inaugurates Electric Charging Station at Port of Puttgarden

Scandlines has enabled an electric charging station at the Port of Puttgarden after laying 11 kilometers of cable from Burg, establishing a capacity of 15 MW. The ferry The Baltic Whale reduces its charging time to 12-15 minutes and completes the crossing in 45 minutes, operating every two hours. The European Union co-financed the investment under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Transport.
