Puertos del Estado Presents Guide for Safe Integration of Drones in Port Facilities
Puertos del Estado has presented a guide for the use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the port environment, developed in collaboration with port authorities and other institutions. The document provides a common framework for the progressive, safe, and coordinated integration of drones. According to Gustavo Santana, president of Puertos del Estado, the guide addresses governance, regulations, operations, and applications such as surveillance, infrastructure inspection, and emergency management.
