Cruise Line Trio Wins Port of Vancouver Sustainability Awards

Three cruise lines—Disney Cruise Line, Holland America Line, and Princess Cruises—were recognized by the Port of Vancouver at the annual Blue Circle Awards for their environmental leadership while homeporting at Canada Place cruise terminal. Princess Cruises received a Special Mention for adopting air lubrication systems that reduce air emissions and improve fuel efficiency. Disney Cruise Line has received the award every year it homeported in Vancouver, while Holland America Line has received a total of 12 awards.
