The National Naval Prefect, General Prefect Guillermo Giménez Pérez, led the graduation ceremony for the Professional Course of the 2025/2026 Academic Cycle.
The event, held at the Force's Superior School, located in the Buenos Aires town of Olivos, was attended by part of the Institution's senior staff, superior and subordinate personnel, authorities from the University Institute of Maritime Security (IUSM), families of the graduating officers, and special guests.
During the ceremony, the Director of the Superior School, Senior Prefect Walter Watters, addressed those present and stated: “I wish to express my most sincere congratulations for your effort and perseverance in this training.”
"During this course, you faced academic and physical demands, strengthened the spirit of camaraderie, built bonds, and acquired values such as loyalty, honor, discipline, and a vocation for service,” said Senior Prefect Watters, who emphasized: "always remember that the Coast Guard career is permanent learning."
It is worth noting that this training was aimed at professionals who joined the national Maritime Authority as principal officers, with the objective of providing them with technical and operational training, but also the values, discipline, and identity that define the Force.
In this regard, during the ceremony, the officers received their graduation diplomas and swore allegiance to the Flag.
Furthermore, the top-ranking graduate was awarded for their outstanding performance. In this context, Principal Officer María Noelia Yuricich, a doctor serving in the Health Department, was recognized.
