Suardiaz Group, through its Suardiaz Energy division, signed an agreement to make the newly acquired RS Onza, an IMO2 chemical tanker with methanol transport capacity, available to Moeve.
The RS Onza, recently delivered to Suardiaz in Singapore, will operate in European ports, mainly in Spain, and is already providing service for Moeve.
Juan Riva, CEO of Suardiaz Group, commented that "our agreement with Moeve reinforces our historical relationship and is further proof of the trust the energy sector places in us. Our extensive experience in the maritime sector and in bunkering supports us in continuing to advance in responding with more innovative and sustainable solutions."
For his part, Fernando Barreras, director of Suardiaz Energy, explained that "the RS Onza is equipped with the latest technology for the transport and delivery of new fuels."
Samir Fernandez, director of Marine Solutions & Trading at Moeve, stated that "the incorporation of the RS Onza strengthens our capacity to advance in logistics solutions better adapted to new fuels. This agreement with Suardiaz is another step in Moeve's roadmap to promote the decarbonization of maritime transport."
Suardiaz Energy promotes two complementary business lines. On the one hand, the Offshore area, focused on the operation of offshore vessels, and on the other, Tankers, dedicated to the operation of oil tankers, chemical tankers, and bunker barges, with operational units in Barcelona and Ceuta.
In addition, the company has new projects under development, with units under construction for 2027 and the design of an LNG bunker. In short, Suardiaz is committed to larger capacity and more flexible vessels for the transport of petroleum products or chemicals with capacity for new fuels.
