Ocean Network Express (ONE), a prestigious Japanese shipping company based in Singapore, remains the leading line at the port of Manzanillo, having mobilized 285,920 TEUs from January to May of the current year, concentrating 16.5% of the total movement.
Hapag Lloyd registered a difference of 35,203 TEUs in container operations, with ONE taking first place and this shipping line taking second.
During that period, just four shipping lines (ONE, Hapag-Lloyd, MSC, and Maersk) mobilized 963,252 TEUs, equivalent to 55.5% of the accumulated total.
Considering COSCO and CMA CGM, among the top six lines (including ONE, Hapag-Lloyd, MSC, and Maersk), they concentrated 1,263,474 TEUs, which is 72.7% of the total movement.
Asian shipping companies continue to have a decisive participation in the movement of containerized cargo at the port.
