The CLX service of the Danish shipping company Maersk resumed operations at the Pisco port terminal, operated by Puerto Paracas, Ica Region, on June 8, 2026.
The first vessel to call at the maritime station in the Ica Region was the Maersk Benguela, which discharged 168 containers.
"At the Port of Paracas, we continue to strengthen our connectivity with the main international markets. We are pleased to welcome Maersk line again, which made its first discharge of 168 boxes aboard the vessel Maersk Benguela, consolidating a new logistics alternative for our clients," stated Terminal Portuario Paracas on social media.
"Through its CLX service, exporters and importers will be able to access direct and competitive connections to important destinations in the US, such as Philadelphia (14 days), Port Everglades (15 days), Savannah (18 days), and Wilmington (18 days); as well as to Europe, reaching Southampton (19 days), Rotterdam (21 days), and Algeciras (22 days)," added the port operator.
"The arrival of this service reaffirms Puerto Paracas' commitment to continue expanding foreign trade opportunities, offering efficient logistics solutions, competitive transit times, and a strategic connection between Peru and the world," emphasized Puerto Paracas.
The return of the CLX service to Puerto Paracas, as reported by PortalPortuario, was announced by the terminal itself in December 2025, as part of the shipping offer during Peru's high season for agro-exports.
