The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation reports that, in the first seven months of 2026, 74.3 million tons of agro-industrial products were exported, with a 13% growth compared to 2025, representing a historic volume, according to data processed by the Undersecretariat of Agri-Food Markets and International Insertion, based on INDEC figures.
The exported value was USD 32.507 billion, 15% higher than the same period in 2025.
An analysis of the period highlights that 35 complexes (including primary products and their derivatives) showed increases compared to 2025. These complexes account for 93% of the total amount exported by the agro-industry.
Notable cases include cotton (+114%); sunflower (+100%); sheep (+87%); beekeeping (+63%); cattle and wheat (+37%); sour citrus (+44%); fishing and aquaculture (+22%); corn (+13%); dairy products (+14%), among others.
In these seven months, Argentina exported 361 products to 133 destinations. Some products, although exported in small quantities, showed significant growth. Such is the case for plywood, veneered or laminated wood (+1,112%); frozen lamb carcasses or half-carcasses (+727%); cotton yarns (+464%); turnip or rapeseed for sowing (+417%); dried pears (+250%); roasted, decaffeinated coffee (+155%); frozen raspberries and blackberries (+150%); shelled dried adzuki beans (+123%); coriander seeds (+101%), among others.
The main sales destinations were India (soybean and sunflower oils), China (beef, soybean products, and fish), Brazil (wheat, dairy products, and heavy vegetables), Vietnam (corn, wheat, and soybean products), the United States (beef, honey, wine products), Chile (soybean, sunflower, and beef), Saudi Arabia (corn, soybean, and barley), Peru (corn, soybean, and fish), Indonesia (soybean, wheat, and corn), and Malaysia (corn, soybean, and sunflower). These 10 prominent destinations account for 51% of the exported amount.
Furthermore, in these first months of the year, products were exported to 15 destinations that did not make purchases in the previous year, such as Libya, Liberia, Guyana, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Haiti, among others.
Month after month, the continuous growth of the agro-industry and the presence of Argentine products worldwide are evident, a result of the work of all stakeholders in more than 50 value chains.
