Argentina continues to strengthen its agri-food shipments to the international market. The National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (SENASA) accompanied and certified the health and safety of 8,644.16 kilograms of pacu meat (Piaractus mesopotamicus) exported to the United States.
The veterinary certification was carried out by the SENASA Chaco-Formosa Regional Center team at Official Establishment No. 4969, located in the Chaco town of Puerto Las Palmas. This plant has all federal transit authorizations and export permits to key markets such as the United States, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

During the process, SENASA personnel supervised the comprehensive compliance with the food health and safety standards required by the U.S. market, ensuring that the Chaco pacu reaches American tables with the highest quality and freshness.
The cargo, transported by land from Chaco, crossed the Andes mountain range through Mendoza and was shipped from a port in Chile to its destination in North America.
