The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation reports that peanut milling reached 213,942 tons between January and August of this year, representing an increase of 30.7% compared to the same period last year.
This expansion generated 84,147 tons of peanut oil, 109,011 tons of pellets, and 12,310 tons of other agro-industrial by-products.
Meanwhile, exports between January and August 2026 reached 661,784 tons of peanuts and derived products, 22.7% higher than the same period in 2025. The total amount was USD 753 million.
Among the main destinations are China, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Chile.
