In representation of the Institution, Prefect General Néstor Kiferling, Director of Maritime, Fluvial and Lacustrine Traffic, participated as a panelist in the meeting, held in the Auditorium of the Government House of the City of Buenos Aires.
The day brought together representatives from the Argentine provinces, national authorities and specialized referents, constituting a federal exchange space aimed at addressing different aspects of the agenda linked to Argentine maritime spaces and their incidence in national development.
During the meeting, issues related to the strategic importance of these spaces were analyzed, particularly due to their connection with foreign trade, natural resources, critical infrastructure, security and sustainable development.
In this framework, the Force's participation allowed incorporating its perspective, with reference to its responsibilities in terms of controlling maritime spaces and preserving national interests linked to their development and exploitation.
Institutional presence in this area contributed to the exchange between different levels of government and specialized sectors, highlighting the contribution to the comprehensive approach to the challenges and opportunities linked to the ocean agenda and national development.
