On the waters of the Río de la Plata, the "COPNA Anniversary Regatta" was held, corresponding to the fourth and final date of the Sailing Regatta Championship organized by the Yacht Club of the Prefectura Naval Argentina.
The event, held on October 4, brought together representatives from the Prefecture Schools and the Círculo de Oficiales de la Prefectura Naval Argentina (COPNA) and featured the participation of the institutional sailboats Estrella del Mar, Crux, Viking III, Stella Maris, Clementina, and Ciudad de Zárate, whose crews tested their technical skills, teamwork, and seafaring spirit.
Likewise, the captain of the PNA YR-7 Esperanza Yacht, Prefecto Juan Manuel Frette, along with his crew, joined the different participating vessels to provide support and contribute his experience in sailing.

After the regatta, competitors, authorities, and guests shared the traditional camaraderie gathering aboard the GC-24 Mantilla coast guard, moored in Dársena Norte of the Puerto de Buenos Aires.
The awards ceremony and recognitions will take place on October 23 at the Círculo de Oficiales de la Prefectura Naval Argentina, where the crews that obtained the first places in the different series of the PHRF Formula will be honored, and the champions of the season's general classification will be crowned.
In this way, the national Maritime Authority continues to promote the practice of nautical sports, seafaring training, and the strengthening of camaraderie among its members.
