The University Institute of Maritime Security (IUSM), under the Argentine Naval Prefecture, held the First Educational Protocol and Ceremonial Seminar "Beyond the School Event: The Architecture of the Institutional Event." This training day was aimed at deepening knowledge and tools related to the organization of ceremonies and events in educational institutions.
The activity took place at the Officers' Circle of the Argentine Naval Prefecture (COPNA) in Olivos and was attended by the District Chief of Vicente López, Lic. Claudio Baisi.
The seminar was led by the Head of the Public and Institutional Relations, Institutional Communication, and Historical and Museological Studies Departments, Prefecto Mayor (RS) Luis Alberto Tancredi; the Head of the Ceremonial and Protocol Department, Prefecto Mayor Rubén Aníbal Peloso; and Prof. Mariana Da Silva, who developed different aspects related to protocol and ceremonial in the educational field.
During the event, content related to the conceptual framework and current regulations, anniversaries, the placement and precedence of authorities and guests, the treatment of national symbols, and the protocol for the transfer of flags was addressed.
Furthermore, discussions were held on institutional architecture and image, including stage distribution, ornamentation, institutional projection, and the use of social media. Tools related to public speaking, the preparation of minute scripts, and the organization of special events, such as graduation ceremonies and naming ceremonies, were also developed.
The meeting concluded with a space for exchange and conclusions, where participants could reflect on the content developed and share experiences regarding the planning and execution of institutional events.
