The Argentine Naval Prefecture (PNA) deployed a mega-operation this Tuesday on the outskirts of Mar del Plata, which allowed the dismantling of a criminal organization dedicated to the commercialization of narcotics.
The procedures were ordered by Federal Court No. 1 of the city, headed by Dr. Santiago Inchausti, and the Secretariat of Action, led by Dr. Pedro Hooft. The measures were carried out within the framework of an investigation developed by the national Maritime Authority itself for infringement of the Narcotics Law and the article that sanctions unauthorized possession of firearms.
In this context, three simultaneous raids were carried out in homes in a neighborhood located in the southwest of the city, which had the aerial support of the Dauphin PA-40 helicopter from the Mar del Plata Prefecture Air Station, which performed an overflight while the mega-operation was taking place.
During the procedures, a man, who was the main subject of the investigation, and two women were arrested and held incommunicado.
Also, more than three kilograms of marijuana, cocaine, more than 500 cannabis seeds, two revolvers, ammunition, cash, cell phones, and other elements and documentation of interest to the case were seized, with the total value of what was confiscated exceeding 53 million pesos.
