The measure applies to those who carry out professions, trades, or occupations in port jurisdiction or in activities related to the maritime field, contemplated in the Maritime, Fluvial, and Lacustrine Navigation Regime (REGINAVE), established by Decree No. 37/2025. This includes shipowners and shipping companies, maritime agents and agencies, representatives, naval experts in all their specialties, naval engineers and architects, naval construction technicians, ship degasification technicians, boatmen and rafting guides, and representatives of the IMSBC Code.
This new development allows applications to be made digitally, which facilitates access to the services of the national Maritime Authority, reduces administrative times, and enables online tracking of each file, without the need to personally visit the Institution's offices.
In this way, the Force continues to advance in the modernization of its services and in the implementation of digital tools that simplify procedures and provide more efficient and accessible service to users.
