The University Institute of Maritime Security (IUSM), under the Argentine Naval Prefecture, held a graduation ceremony for its undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs, in a ceremony that took place at the Officers' Club of the Argentine Naval Prefecture (COPNA).
The ceremony was presided over by the National Naval Prefect and President of the Board of Directors, Prefect General Guillermo José Giménez Pérez, together with the Rector of the IUSM, Oscar Alejandro Pagliardini, who were accompanied by the National Naval Sub-Prefect, Prefect General Alejandro Paulo Annichini; the Secretary General, Prefect General Marcelo Del Giorgio; and the Director of Education, Prefect General Daniel Germán Bonifacini.
Also present were authorities from the Ministry of National Security, representatives of Security and Police Forces institutes and national universities, IUSM authorities, Force personnel, and special guests.
During the academic act, new specialists, licensees, university professors, analysts, technicians, and diplomates received their diplomas, having completed the various undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate training programs offered by the Institute.
The ceremony began with the singing of the Argentine National Anthem, performed by the Argentine Naval Prefecture's Music Band. Subsequently, the Chief Chaplain of the Argentine Naval Prefecture, Presbyter Diego Tibaldo, blessed the diplomas. Then, Pagliardini administered the oath to the graduates of the different programs.

In relation to the occasion, the Rector of the IUSM expressed: “Institutional life has moments of special significance and, undoubtedly, today is one of them. Today we are not simply handing out diplomas; today we are recognizing stories. Stories of effort, of perseverance, stories of people who at some point decided to begin a path of training and who are here today taking away something much more important than a title. They carry a part of their own history transformed into education.”

Subsequently, the authorities presented the diplomas and the traditional Diana de Gloria accompanied the closing of the academic act.
