The Argentine Naval Prefecture concluded the Flag State Ship Inspector course in the Radio specialty, held between August 31 and September 11 at the facilities of the Institution's Superior School, located in the Buenos Aires town of Olivos.
During the closing ceremony, the Director of Navigation Safety and Environmental Protection Police, Prefect General José Fernando Dos Santos, accompanied by senior staff from the area and faculty, presented certificates to the students.

The training had the participation of ten students, including an officer from the Plurinational State of Bolivia, who updated and deepened their knowledge of national and international regulations applicable to the radio-electric area, complementing theoretical content with practical classes on board ships.

The program aims to train and qualify professionals to carry out technical inspections on board vessels of the National Merchant Registry sailing in jurisdictional waters, in order to verify compliance with the safety conditions established by current regulations.
These inspections are fundamental for the issuance, renewal, or validation of national and international safety certificates, within the framework of the responsibilities that the Force exercises as Maritime Authority and in its role as Flag State.
