November 6, 2026
2026-11-06. Fantasy Fest 2026 is here: the second edition of the major children's, youth, and family leisure event, promoted by the Castellón City Council and PortCastelló, will begin tomorrow, Saturday, and has a great day planned for the little ones on Sunday, November 8th, although throughout the weekend, audiences of all ages will find reasons for fun.
On Sunday morning, children will enjoy attractions from 10 AM, such as the Pokémon challenge zone, with a scavenger hunt and a creative space to let their imagination soar, as well as a K-pop makeup and hairstyle zone inspired by Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. There will also be a badge workshop and, from 11 AM, activities with the Ghostbusters, to discover their tools and paint with the movie characters. Another highlight will be, at 11:30 AM, the musical performance by movie princesses and princes on the Moll de Costa Eventos stage, where the little ones can sing along with them.
Indeed, the entire Fantasy Fest will be a grand display of fantasy brought to life by the most famous character universes from the world of cinema, literature, and comics, as well as through shows that will revolutionize the Grao, turning the maritime district into the perfect setting for dreaming.
Jedi Challenge, Transformers…
From Jedi Challenge activities to the Transformer exhibition, from the Fantasy market to the gaming zone, including notable new features such as the arrival of the Harry Potter universe: on the main stage of Moll de Costa Eventos, fun will be guaranteed throughout the weekend. With Harry Potter, there will be up to three ceremonies where the sorting hat will decide which Hogwarts house you belong to… and present you with a diploma. In addition, characters from the saga will also pass through the photocall, where a good number of princesses from the world of family cinema will also shine brightly, and can be seen singing on stage.
The event on Saturday will begin at 10 AM and last until 2 PM, resuming from 5 PM to 9 PM, with powerful attractions such as the Fantasy Fest parade, which will depart from Sète Square at 6 PM, shortly after the Cosplay contest, which will have started an hour earlier, concludes. On Sunday, the magic will continue from 10 AM to 2 PM with activities and surprises for all audiences.
The Marvel and DC universe will attract a large audience to enjoy Wolverine, Deadpool, Ironman, Peacekeeper, Cyclops, Spiderman, Green Lantern, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange, Mystique, or Dr. Doom, among others. In addition, Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean will join us again, and we will also once again enjoy one of the main attractions of the first edition: the Ghostbusters car, with all the characters from the movie.
National Lightsaber Competition
But there is much, much more. For example, the lightsaber will also play a major role in the event, through a national combat competition by the Ludosport academy: it will be the Fantasy Fest Ludosport Cup 2026. In addition, this second edition incorporates an outdoor lasergame zone with laser shooting and, in the exhibition area of Moll de Costa Eventos, there will be a tribute exhibition to Star Wars with a display of the most amazing helmets from the series and movies of the saga.
Just a few meters away, in the Edificio Moruno, we will simultaneously enjoy the exhibition of fantastic characters by Mikel Herrero, a science fiction artisan who will display his spectacular giant 3D figures of superheroes and manga protagonists from One Piece, among others… and to top it off, Herrero himself will paint a large mural live.
