Document Automation in ValenciaportPCS: New Functionality for Shippers and Carriers

• Valenciaport's IT and telematics platform automates the generation of the Electronic Administrative Control Document (DeCA) from the Unified Transport Document (DUT).

Valencia, September 22, 2026.- The Port Authority of Valencia (APV) has launched a new update to its ValenciaportPCS platform, allowing users to generate the Electronic Administrative Control Document (DeCA) starting October 5th, facilitating compliance with new transport regulations in an agile and centralized manner.

The great added value of this update lies in automation. In addition to allowing manual registration of the DeCA, ValenciaportPCS will enable the generation of this document directly from a Unified Transport Document (DUT). This integration eliminates the need to enter data twice, streamlining the logistics process and avoiding common human transcription errors.

Once generated, the DeCA is accessible to all involved parties from the moment of its activation. Furthermore, the document is published in a public repository that can be quickly accessed by scanning a QR code.

With this advancement, Contractual Shippers and Effective Carriers now have a common environment within ValenciaportPCS to manage, share, and consult their DeCAs with complete transparency and security.
