The National Port Authority (APN) and senior executives from COSCO Shipping strengthened coordination for the development, management, and operation of the Chancay Multipurpose Port Terminal. The meeting allowed for addressing aspects related to its operational efficiency and international projection.
The project is consolidated as strategic infrastructure for Peru's port and economic growth, by strengthening the direct commercial connection between South America and the main Asian markets. Its development seeks to boost exports and imports, reduce logistics times and costs, and attract new investments.
Public-private articulation aims to position the Port of Chancay as a strategic logistics hub for Peru and the South Pacific. Its consolidation will also contribute to strengthening regional integration and expanding foreign trade opportunities with Asian markets.
