Peru Consolidates as a Strategic Point in the Region's Maritime Trade
The National Port Authority (APN) participated in the International Maritime Congress Symposium, where it highlighted that Peru has nine public-use concessioned port terminals located in key regions such as Callao, Paita, Salaverry, Matarani, Pisco, San Juan de Marcona, and Yurimaguas. These concessions have generated an accumulated investment exceeding 2.3 billion dollars by January 2026, with estimated commitments of around 4 billion dollars. Additionally, private port authorizations have generated an accumulated investment exceeding 2.5 billion dollars.
