CMA CGM to charge 800 dollars per reefer container from South America to Europe
CMA CGM will implement a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) of 800 dollars per reefer container for shipments from Chile, Peru, and Ecuador to Northern Europe. The measure is effective from October 15 for Chile and Peru, and from October 24 for Ecuador, applicable to short-term contracts. The surcharge is in addition to other usual operating costs such as fuel, terminal handling (THC), and security fees.
