Study Proposes Dynamic Approach to Evaluating Chancay Port Competition

A technical report on the Port of Chancay, prepared by José Luis Bonifaz and Julio Aguirre from the Universidad del Pacífico, recommends evaluating port competition with dynamic methodologies that incorporate prospective scenarios and new trade routes. The study warns that analyses based solely on current conditions would not adequately reflect the effects of the new terminal on the Peruvian logistics system.
