Four cruise ships will arrive in Manzanillo during October, as announced at the meeting held this Thursday by the Local Cruise Committee, at the ASIPONA Manzanillo facilities. This marks the beginning of the 2026-2027 Cruise Season.
Representatives from different agencies, tourism service providers, and other stakeholders involved in the operation of receiving these passenger ships participated in the meeting.
The Committee reviewed the arrival schedule, operational and security aspects, visitor services, tours and excursions, as well as the conditions of the reception and transit areas.
The first vessel of the season will be the Ruby Princess, which will dock at the Tourist Terminal at 8 AM on Wednesday, October 7.
The same ship, on its return itinerary to its home port, will be in Manzanillo on Sunday, October 18. The Koningsdam will be here on Friday, October 23, and the Carnival Firenze, which will visit our port for the first time, will dock on the 28th, closing the first month of the season.
The Ruby Princess, which will inaugurate the cycle, is a ship with a length overall of 290 meters and a beam of 36 meters, with a draft of 8 meters, and made its maiden voyage on November 8, 2008.
It carries 3,080 passengers and 1,200 crew members, sails under the flag of Bermuda, and belongs to Princess Cruises.
It was also highlighted that ASIPONA Manzanillo is a Platinum member of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), which will strengthen the promotion of Manzanillo and generate new opportunities for the development of cruise activity.
