The Port of Chancay, operated by Cosco Shipping Ports in Peru, recorded a year-on-year growth of 70.94% in container movement during the first half of 2026. Between January and June, the terminal mobilized 200,000 TEUs.
Activity also increased in the bulk and general cargo segments, which reached 987,000 tons, as well as in calls by container ships, cargo vessels, and Ro-Ro ships. The terminal maintains connections with Asia, the west coast of South America, Central America, and Panama.
The growth in operations reflects the expansion of Chancay's port and logistics activity within regional trade routes. The development of the terminal strengthens its integration with maritime transport chains and commercial exchange between South America and Asian markets.
