New Zealand - KiwiRail Block of Line - Matariki Holiday Weekend 2026
KiwiRail confirmed a Block of Line (BOL) scheduled from Friday 10th July at 7:30 am through Sunday 12th July at 6:00 pm to enable critical track maintenance across the Auckland rail network. During this period, no trains or road-bridging services will operate between Auckland and Tauranga. Supplementary return services have been scheduled for Wednesday 8th July and Wednesday 15th July to manage the expected backlog.
