Swedish Supreme Court Authorizes Transfer of Caffa Vessel to Ukraine

Sweden's highest court has ratified the handover of the vessel Caffa to Ukraine, which was seized in the Baltic Sea in March for sailing under a false flag. The ship is suspected of illegally transporting grain from Russian-occupied territory. The August 4 ruling allows Sweden to transfer the vessel and evidence to Ukraine for investigation into alleged war crimes. Most of the 11 crew members were Russian.
