Novatek Receives Arctic LNG 2 Train 3 Modules as Yard Remains Largely Idle
The first two topside modules for Arctic LNG 2's third production train have been offloaded at Novatek's Belokamenka yard in Murmansk, according to satellite imagery obtained by Synmax. However, the images reveal minimal broader construction activity, with cranes and the gravity-based structure remaining unchanged. At least seven additional Train 3 modules remain in China, while two critical power plant modules for Train 2 are stored at Mao Jia Port. The project continues to face delays due to Western sanctions.
