Port of Concepción del Uruguay Exports 12 Thousand Tons of Non-GMO Soy to Denmark
12 thousand tons of genetically unmodified (Non-GMO) soybean meal were shipped to Denmark from the Port of Concepción del Uruguay aboard the vessel Eco Crossfire. This operation was the first to involve production entirely harvested and industrialized in the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina, carried out by ACA, Entre Ríos Crushing, and the Danish cooperative DLG Agro. The project includes an investment exceeding 400,000 dollars for the adaptation of port infrastructure.
