MPC Container Ships Christens Methanol-Powered DP World Southampton

MPC Container Ships ASA celebrated the christening of the DP World Southampton, a 148-meter long vessel equipped with a dual-fuel engine and methanol capability. The ship will operate under a seven-year charter contract with DP World in Northern Europe. The vessel incorporates shore power connection, significantly reducing emissions compared to conventional vessels.
