DP World achieves 160,000 tonnes of CO2e reduction in UK supply chains
DP World helped its customers reduce over 160,000 tonnes of CO2e in UK supply chains in less than three years through the Modal Shift Programme, launched in September 2023, which increased rail transport in Southampton from 21% to over 30%. The Low Carbon Truck Pilot Programme (LCTP) registered over 1,500 vehicles, while the second phase implements the EVITA programme for electric heavy goods vehicles.
