Pacific International Lines Accelerates Fleet Renewal with Twin Naming of 13K TEU LNG Dual-Fuel Vessels
Pacific International Lines marked a significant milestone with the twin naming ceremony of Kota Elok and Kota Elan, 13,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessels built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipyard in Shanghai on 23 June 2026. The first in a series of 13 new ships, they will be deployed on PIL's Asia-South America service. Both vessels are equipped with LNG and low-sulphur fuel oil technology, supporting PIL's net zero emissions goal by 2050.
