Unlike conventional container ships that require manual securing of the containers on deck, the vessel's innovative lashing-free system improves operational safety and cargo stability, representing a new solution for future shipping.
The vessel's maiden voyage to Qingdao highlights the port's capability to serve increasingly advanced ships with its deep-water facilities, smart operations and green energy services.
As a major international shipping hub, Qingdao Port continues to expand its global connectivity, with nearly 240 container routes linking more than 700 ports worldwide. It is also accelerating smart and green transformation through artificial intelligence applications and green methanol bunkering services.
