Port of Antwerp Receives 55-Meter Module for Ethane Cracker Plant
The Port of Antwerp received a giant module, 55 meters high and weighing 7,000 tons, destined for the ONE Project's ethane cracker plant. This infrastructure will convert ethane into ethylene for applications in medical devices, automotive parts, wind turbines, and solar panels. According to Ineos, the project represents the largest investment in the European chemical sector since 2000 and will create approximately 450 new jobs, producing half the CO₂ of current plants.
