Port of Rotterdam Authority Completes Large-Scale Renovation and Replacement of Port Street Lighting
The Port of Rotterdam Authority has completed a comprehensive renovation of its public lighting after eight years of work. More than 7,000 LED poles were installed, 11,000 old poles were removed, and 500 kilometers of new cabling network were laid. The new system reduces energy consumption by 50%, equivalent to 1.6 million kWh annually and 1,030 fewer tons of CO2 emissions.
