Port of Yantai Launches Breakbulk Cargo Service to Djibouti

The Port of Yantai, operated by Shandong Port Group, officially inaugurated its Yantai-Djibouti breakbulk cargo service with a vessel carrying 21,000 metric tons of construction machinery. The new service increases the port's total international breakbulk routes to 36, reducing logistics costs by 30%. In the first half of the year, breakbulk voyages to Africa increased by 66.1% year-on-year, solidifying Yantai's position as a key maritime gateway for China-Africa trade.
