Sitrans Marks 45 Years of Operations Amidst Logistics Transformation
Sitrans celebrates 45 years of experience amidst transformations in the logistics industry driven by globalization and technological changes. The company, which began operations in 1981 in foreign trade, now operates eight terminals between Arica and Puerto Montt. According to Sitrans data, logistics represents 4% of the national GDP and employs over 250,000 workers. In 2025, the country ranked fourth in America for trade facilitation, according to the OECD.
