The Minister of Transport and Communications, Angello Tangherlini Casal, met with Rafael Del Campo Quintana, president of the National Council of Users of the International Physical Distribution System (CONUDFI), to analyze proposals aimed at strengthening public-private articulation in the logistics field.
The meeting was also attended by the Vice Minister of Transport, Gabriela Carrasco, representatives of the General Directorate of Transport Programs and Projects (DGPPT) and Provías Nacional (PVN), of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC).
During the meeting, a technical agenda was presented to identify and prioritize gaps in logistics corridors linked to ports, airports, and transport infrastructure. The proposal suggests defining solutions, responsible parties, deadlines, and monitoring mechanisms, considering the needs of system users.
Likewise, the foundations for evaluating a possible framework collaboration agreement between MTC and CONUDFI were presented. The proposed actions include validating a technical agenda, appointing a technical counterpart from MTC, and evaluating a work plan. The proposal also contemplates establishing clear roles and competencies, under transparency criteria.
