The Director General of the National Customs Service of Ecuador, Luis Váscones, inaugurated the Supply Chain Integrity Workshop (SCI Project), developed in coordination with the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the Australian Border Force (ABF). The program seeks to strengthen the resilience of supply chains and prevent threats that evade customs and border controls.
During the workshop, topics such as risk management, prevention of internal threats, information exchange, and cooperation among customs administrations, control authorities, and the private sector will be addressed. These pillars promote greater articulation among actors involved in foreign trade.
This initiative contributes to strengthening controls and the security of logistics operations through international cooperation and the exchange of best practices. These actions favor the integrity of the supply chain and the secure facilitation of Ecuadorian foreign trade.
