Paracas Port shipped 26,418 tons of mandarins, oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and tangelos in a campaign developed jointly with Prolan SAC. According to the port company, the operation represented approximately 25% of the volumes mobilized in this activity.
With the shipment of the last container of the 2026 season, the port facility exported 2,426 TEU, equivalent to 26,418,448 kilograms of fruit, destined for markets in Europe and North America.
"At Paracas Port, we carried out the shipment of the last container of the season, together with Prolan SAC, mobilizing nearly 25% of a demanding citrus campaign and contributing to connecting Peruvian agro-exports with international markets," communicated the operator of Puerto General San Martín.
"We firmly believe in the potential of Paracas Port to boost Peru's agro-exports, strengthening the connection of our products with the world and contributing to the development of Peruvian foreign trade," he added.
The Terminal Portuario Paracas is located in the province of Pisco, in the Ica region, an area linked to agricultural production and Peruvian exports.
Its location on the southern coast of the country allows it to handle different types of cargo and participate in the logistics chains that connect regional production with foreign trade.
Peruvian citrus exports are expected to total 390 million dollars and grow by 8% in the current 2026 campaign, according to projections by Procitrus General Manager, Sergio del Castillo.
