Maersk applies emergency fuel surcharge to Nordic inland shipments

Maersk announced an emergency inland fuel/energy surcharge effective September 16th, 2026, affecting Store Door shipments across seven Nordic countries due to Middle East fuel supply disruptions. Surcharges range from 0% in Norway to 20% in Estonia for shipments with PCD date 9th September and onwards. Electric truck and rail solutions remain unaffected, with percentages subject to weekly updates.
